I tried to go to our daily team standup meeting today. We use the etherpad at: https://ffosmedia.etherpad.mozilla.org/1 After typing in some information, I get disconnected. Each time I try again, I get disconnected. Sometimes it will keep a character or two of what I type, but it loses the rest. The disconnected dialog has a "let us know" link if the problem persists. Unfortunately, the link resolves to: https://ffosmedia.etherpad.mozilla.org/ep/support and gives a 404.
How long have you been using this particular pad? We've had trouble in the past when a pad has a huge number of revisions... the line count here isn't a problem, but if you've been editing it daily for weeks/months, that could be the problem. Simple fix in that case is to copy all the current data out, delete the pad, and make a new one. Is that feasible for you to try?
We've been using it for about a month IIRC. I can't tell for sure because when I click on time slider I get: Oops! A server error occured. It's been logged. Please email <support@etherpad.com> if this persists. I created a new etherpad at https://ffosmedia.etherpad.mozilla.org/2 and it seems to be working ok.
Time slider not working is another reasonable indication that maybe the pad has gotten too big. Though only a month feels too short. It appears to have been created on May 16, and there are currently around 32k revisions on that pad. That's above average, but by no means the biggest.... https://etherpad.mozilla.org/gaia-meeting-notes is over 110k. So this feels like a possibility, but by no means is a smoking gun. Let me know if the new pad continues to work fine for the next few days, and if the old one continues to be unusable. Could be other factors weighing in, too. Side note: you can actually name the pad URLs when you create them, if you want. Instead of clicking "new pad", simply go to https://ffosmedia.etherpad.mozilla.org/whatevernameyouwant and it will offer to make that pad.
Since you have a new pad I will assume this issue is no longer an issue. Feel free to reopen if I am mistaken.
