Inbox for default of 4 POP mail accounts shows no messages, even though there should be 63 messages there. Mouse tool tip shows 0/63 messages. When Mozilla Mail is opened, it gets a new mail message to the inbox in question. New mail beep is produced and green arrow on mail account indicates new message. Clicking the account inbox reveils a blank, white inbox. Cannot view or reply to new email message as the messages are not visable, i.e.: no subjects shown. There are over 50 messages in the inbox although none are visable. I really need a good, stable, HTML email client for linux and this is agravating as new email is getting fetched and deleted from the server and goes to the black hole, never to be read or see the light of day, ever! Please fix this right away! (Your auto-fields initializer is correct, by the way) Paul
Got the inbox to work. Deleted file ~/.mozilla/ohm-1/3iu2bbgf.slt/Mail/<mailserver>-7.net/inbox.msf. I have 8 different folders in here with my mailserver name and a suffix of 1 to 8 on them. Trial and error moving folders to a test directory and restarting Mozilla Mail showed which folder was at fault. Deleting the Inbox.msf file cleared up the blank inbox and my mail showed up again. There were several new messages that I did not even know I had in there. This is the second time that this happend to Mozilla Mail. First time I deleted the account. This time I did not want to lose it so I spent some time picking through all of the stuff in the .mozilla directory. Wish that this would not happen. Paul
Deleting the .msf file should fix it. Marking WORKSFORME per reporters comments.
