895718 - order a decent reserve of SD Cards to replace ones that fail in the panda boards

I think it would be a prudent of us to order a large supply of SD Cards for replacing the ones that fail in the panda boards.  I'm not sure about expected rate of failure but I recently replaced 17 cards that had IO errors and there are additional panda boards that are reporting as 'failed_pxe_booting' which means they too will probably need their SD Cards replaced.

It might also be worth finding a wholesale vendor and ordering them in bulk.

For reference, this is the panda board SD Card currently in production:

as for the quantity, lets start with 25% of the existing panda pool (909)

909 * .25 = 227.25 and round that up to 230

Please comment in the bug when you have the go ahead from arr so I can get these ordered.

I approve.  DCOps should be handling these as part of the normal SD card replacement process (we're just giving you a heads up that there may be a bunch of failures in the near future).

Ann: This it the correct quantity that should be ordered:

lets order 20% of the pool
909 * .2 = ~180
that would put it at $8098.2 = (180 * 44.99)

CDW has the SanDisk Extreme Pro for $43.83 with $20 shipping.  For 180 sd cards, the total comes to $8,599.71.  However, there's a lead time of about 5-7 days.  Other vendors are priced higher, or available in limited quantities.  The order has been placed.

25 more SD cards were delivered on 8/22.  I checked with the vendor and he stated that the remaining SD cards will ship out this week.
