In Firebug, getters are  displayed as "get propertyName value", which makes it extremely easy to view your objects getter values with just a glance.

We display "get: [object Function]" and there is no obvious way to get the getter's value.
We're slowly getting there. Bug 820878 and its dependencies are tracking this work.
