can you enable geo.wifi.logging.enabled and send me what shows up in the log?
(In reply to Doug Turner (:dougt) from comment #1) > can you enable geo.wifi.logging.enabled ? how ?
check out this. http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
sorry i did not well explain. there is no geo.wifi.logging.enabled parameter
i do not use wifi but an ethernet connection
oh, i understand. I think this might be a dup of bug 887860. I'll try to patch it soon!
the pb disappeared ! i did not modify my settings before and during the pb. is it possible it was an external pb ? for example an isp pb.
i reopen this bug again with openstreetmap.org and viamichelin.fr the pb is there and also same pb with ww.google.com/maps (new google map app) go to settings then select menu option "my addresses" then click on the little point inside a little square for asking your localization then after a delay it says that it fails to find your position no pb with chromium
pb still there with ff 27
settings about geolocation : browser.geolocation.warning.infoURL;https://www.mozilla.org/%LOCALE%/firefox/geolocation/ geo.enabled;true geo.wifi.uri;https://www.googleapis.com/geolocation/v1/geolocate?key=%GOOGLE_API_KEY% perhaps there is apb with www.googleaips.com ?
also this pb occurs with a wifi connection
opensuse has resolved the pb see how here https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=864170
