>>Project/Request Title: Uplinq Conference Bag Insert >>Project Overview: As the Platinum level sponsor of this event, Mozilla is able to provide printed literature in all attendee bags. This can be a brochure, postcard, full page flyer, etc. Ideally we'd reuse material from MWC if possible. >>Creative Specs & Deliverables: Draft PDF of proposed literature is due to the vendor for review July 25. Final printed versions need to arrive at the warehouse by Aug 28. Literature should focus on Firefox OS, and use the full color fox. Specs should reflect those considered when creating for MWC. >>Launch Date: 2013-09-03 >>Creative Due Date: 2013-08-28 >>Mozilla Goal: Firefox OS >>Points of Contact: sprasad@mozilla.com

Hey Robyn, As we talked about, we're waiting to get more information from you regarding all of the Uplinq items in order to get started. Cheers, Jennifer

This the print version of a leaflet that we'd like to include in the conference attendee bags. This would be perfect as-is, except on page 4 where the content in the phone is Flicks. Are we moving away from Flicks? If so, can we replace this with something more relevant, perhaps a screenshot of the Marketplace? Everything else is perfect.

I will be submitting the leaflet as a draft version for the event vendor to send to Qualcomm for their initial review today. Once approved, the next deadline would be for the completed printed leaflets to arrive in San Diego by August 28.

Hey Robyn, Can you update the due date for when you need the actual leaflet files? You have the creative due date as August 28, but you probably need the Creative prior to that date if you need to get it printed and shipped to San Diego by that date. Thanks, Jennifer

Sure thing. Due date of print-ready leaflet file should be Aug 14. But of course, if it happens to be done earlier, even better :) Thanks! Robyn

Hi Robyn, We still need you to provide the edits you want made to the booklet before this can be assigned.

Hi Jennifer - provided earlier, July 25th, requesting the Flicks screen to be switched out from page 4, requesting a screen shot of Marketplace to replace it instead. Is that guidance ok, or is something more specific needed? Thanks, Robyn

Ah. So it's only switching out one single page? There's no copy/messaging updates that need to be made? If you can attach the Marketplace screenshot that you want included, this single change should be able to happen next week.

Yup! Minimal changes to this one. I don't have the screenshot, and I didn't have a particular image in mind, was hoping Creative would have something on hand that would be more relevant than Flicks for this. (more relevant would be Firefox OS and Marketplace)

Thanks Robyn. Jen, can you get this one wrapped up next week?

In process. I'm assigning this over to Matt and trying to find an existing screenshot for Marketplace.

Hey Matt, Do you have an idea of when we can switch out those mobile screenshots? We'll have to send this to print soon. Thanks!

Hi Robyn, I have some time today to make the screen switch today. Can you provide me with the original Illustrator file for this? Or if you can let me know which designer worked on it, I can reach out to them as well. Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay, been swamped all day! I originally received this from John Bernard (Marketing), and I've asked him. JSlater and Matej were on that email too, so they may know. I'll post when I hear something. Thanks.

If you want to ping some other folks so we can get this knocked, this needs to hit the printers ASAP. Thanks!

Hey Robyn. Do you where the flyer in comment #2 was originally used? I hate to say this, but I'm not sure where it came from...if we could pin it down, I might have a better sense of where we could get the file.

Hey John - I want to say MWC, but I'm not 100% sure. This came as is via email from John Bernard. I have a sinking feeling it was created by an external vendor since this doesn't seem to ring a bell for anyone... It would be such a great asset to have in the attendee bags, but I'm super worried about 1) finding a replacement, and 2) having enough time to print 2000 and have them delivered to San Diego by Aug 28. Can you think of any items that we could replace this flyer with?

Hi Robyn, Any luck finding out who had the original file for this? At this point, would you consider using the Firefox OS booklet for the bag insert instead of giving it out in the booth?
Comment 22•11 years ago
|
||
Resolving this since it was decided to use the booklet without any changes.

Thanks Jennifer. Yes, this was an outside vendor that was used for an event that both Shez and I are not aware of, but it's Brand-compliant and has been given the blessing by JSlater. Might be procuring the editable file for future events, but for this time, we are all set. Thanks everyone!
