camera_selection.png

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130618035212

Steps to reproduce:

* Use an HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC with factory settings.
* Request camera/mic access with getUserMedia
* The camera/mic permission dialog is displayed and defaults to Cyberlink Webcam splitter, which only seems to show a static image (see attachment).
* Choose the camera that is listed second: HP Truevision HD.
* Close the tab and restart Firefox.

Actual results:

The prompt comes up again with Cyberlink Webcam Splitter (the non-working camera) shown as the default again.

Expected results:

The prompt should save the last selected camera. Note that the camera selection *is* saved until you restart the browser.

Note that you can also test this on https://gittogether.com
