How critical is step 2 for these STR, and is this a critical user scenario from your perspective given that? Seems like a more minor edge case.
Flags: needinfo?(sync-1)
Dear Alex,
Now the problem is :
1. enter settings->sim security->enable or disable sim pin-> three times wrong pin code->sim card locked->pop up Enter puk code page
2. close the enter puk code page->will return to Sim security->if the user enter the change pin function ->there is "10 tries left"(not ok 1)->user still can input sim pin and create new pin(not ok 2, though these operation didn't take efect)

So at least, we should disable the change pin button cause it will lead illusions.

Mozilla QA and triage agree that this is not a critical blocker, but should be considered for resolution in 1.2
blocking-b2g: leo? → koi?
Should be an SIM API issue.

Evelyn, do you know who we should ni? too?

It's a bug on UI, and there is a dup: bug 912814, and someone has a patch but I r- it. I think comment 5 is right, or we can redirect user to unlock puk screen when the user clicking on "change pin" button.

I will let UX decide.

redirect my ni to JuWei because she is responsible for Settings app.

Hi Evelyn,
I think you're right, we should lead the user to unlock PUK screen directly when click on "change PIN", otherwise there's no way to enter PUK screen unless the user type ten times again on SIM security screen.

Arthur, please discuss this with UX for the behavior.

UX improvement. Move it to v1.3.
blocking-b2g: koi+ → 1.3?
Plus it for UX improvement
blocking-b2g: 1.3? → 1.3+
We are working on DSDS currently and the development also affects the sim security part. Will check this issue after finishing DSDS development.
Target Milestone: --- → 1.3 C2/1.4 S2(17jan)
Do we still want to address this UX improvement in v1.3? It seems unlikely given the time frame.
blocking-b2g: 1.3+ → 1.3?
Let's get this kind of thing onto an appropriate backlog but not mark it as a blocker.
