Steps to reproduce:
Add an audio tag and via css set:
display: block
width: 100%

Actual results:
The audio element is higher than necessary showing an empty gap over the controls
Expected results:
The audio element height to remain constant

Thanks for the report. This is bug 534409, which is already fixed in the development version of Firefox.
The fix will be included in Firefox 25, due for release in October.
