This issue is hardly be fixed in v1.1(or even in v1.2) because facebook contact data is separated from mozContact database. Please ref bug 895817 comment 1 and bug 895817 comment 2 and re-triage this issue. It's important issue indeed, but it also need a well-planned and accessible solution for all the contact related apps(dialer, message, email and other 3rd party apps) in long term.
