898283 - Verbatim confirmation email link leads to Server error message

Steps to reproduce:
1. Register on Verbatim (https://localize.mozilla.org/) - everything goes smoothly, and in the end you've got email with the text: "To activate your account, follow this link" and you see the link
2. You click it and it leads to page that I did screenshot of. See attachment.

I tried it, my team leader tried it, the new guy wants to translated interface tried it too.

Apparently it's been fixed in Pootle
http://bugs.locamotion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2449
(by upgrading its packaged django-registration)

It's confusing because it's resolved but I can't tell when the change went into Pootle.

Oddly enough, https://github.com/peterbe/pootle/blob/cb98ae224ea4bfa0d0e1f7c0d3e6beabac593e79/pootle/apps/registration/models.py doesn't match the stack on https://errormill.mozilla.org/webtools/verbatim-prod/group/55845/

:Pike, in verbatim we're git submoduling pootle at the tag 2.5.0. pootle/master might have the upgrade to django-registration. 

I'm curious if we should upgrade to pootle/master instead of using pootle/2.5.0

2.5.0 has https://github.com/translate/pootle/blob/a00311cb86d25fc41d29bf05000c7e783a604f96/pootle/apps/registration/models.py#L261, and that's code blob with the fix. And not what the stack trace on sentry looks like.

Yay! Fixed as of this:

I tested it on dev and was able to follow the activation link and now have a newly registered account.

Those affected, please try your activation link again and let me know.

Though, maybe it is expired, I don't know, but I cannot create new account because my email is already used by this unsuccessful account.

If it didn't work, would you mind trying again on localize.allizom.org and see that it works there at least.
