Details

Currently any active download notification is killed on entry to Guest Mode (e.,g download the Nightly APK off http://nightly.mozilla.org, and then enter Guest Mode). This doesn't seem to tamper with the active download though as on exit, I can see the progress continue and complete in the Download Manager. Should an active download notification persist on entry to Guest Mode from the prior profile?

The owner. I was worried that downloads would break on entry to Guest Mode, but I gave my APK download a couple minutes to resume (was stuck on 'Downloading') back when I terminated Guest Mode and returned to my owner profile but the download did finalize. So what or should or can we do with regard to keeping active download notifications around?
