User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20130727 Firefox/25.0 (Nightly/Aurora) Build ID: 20130727030206 Steps to reproduce: Navigate to a page in FF Metro. Close the page via the tab. Press Ctrl + Shift + T. Actual results: A new tab appears but it is blank. Expected results: A new tab should appear and load the last page that was closed instead of appearing blank.
I can't reproduce this bug. Ctrl-Shift-T correctly reopens the last closed tab for me. Does this bug happen all the time for you, or only sometimes? I know it can happen if you close the tab while the page is still waiting to load...
Ha! Look at that magic. It suddenly works now. Could code have been added into an update? Might the bug only happen sometimes? I'd hate to say that it's a user error as I tested this.
Ok. I just replicated this. I'll try me best to explain what I did. I had www.outlook.com open to my email address and then I finished with it, so I closed it. Maybe an extended bit of time later (let's say 20 to 40 mins) I attempted to reopen the tab. I hadn't opened many tabs in this time nor have I close the Firefox Metro application. When I pressed Ctrl + Shift + T, it reloaded my other tabs but did not reload the Outlook.com one. I only opened a blank tab. While I want to say that this is due to it taking forever to load, the load bar at the bottom of the page on this tab finished and it was still white. I attempted to open several other tabs but they all seemed to load. To me, it appears that Firefox 'forgets' what it needs to loads.
I was able to get to the same state, here's the STR I did: - open metro and open outlook.com on a new tab (keeping the initially loaded tab empty) - create a new tab - With the new tab selected bring down the tab bar and close the original blank tab and outlook.com's tab. - Press CTRL + SHIFT + T twice What happens for me is that the overlay back and plus button show up after the second CTRL + SHIFT + T, if I right-click the start page I get a blank page. Pressing back then forward will load the page OK. I was only able to see this happen on outlook.com, didn't happen with other pages I tried. It was quite difficult to get it to happen, most of the simplifications I tried would load outlook.com fine. I'm not sure there is an easy way to repro it or if it's specific to outlook.com.
not blocking per the triage meeting.
