Details
(Whiteboard: [mozmill-test-failure][mozmill-endurance])
Test: testPinAndUnpinAppTab
Failure: Disconnect Error: Application unexpectedly closed
Branches: default
Platforms: Windows 8
Only 1 failure:
http://mozmill-daily.blargon7.com/#/endurance/report/b3aefd29a5c41bda1cc43616d31e3018
I'll reference bug 709063 and bug 707663 where we've done work on this test.
Due to timing (10 mintes apart) and the nature of the failure (Disconnect), I'll cross-reference bug 898996 - we might have had an issue with the Win8 machine itself.
If they both don't reproduce, we can probably assume a machine problem (we've seen this before if Windows throws an Update Windows overlay in the middle of a testrun.
* The Jenkins report page is no longer available, so I can't confirm they both ran on the same machine.

This test failed again, this time on ESR17, en-US, with a "controller.waitForPageLoad(): Timeout waiting for page loaded." error:

It is quite possible that the 2 failures are not related.

I wouldn't conflate a disconnect issue with a page load timeout issue. This hasn't occurred for over a week. Let's keep an eye on it for now.

Lets track this appropriately.
Once bug 900860 is resolved this should go away.
Depends on: 900860

Closed: this was an issue with Windows 8 Update overlay messing up testruns.
