In some contextual menus items haven't the right font format. See attachment.

The item is bold because it signifies the default action if the object is
clicked on. For example, if you click on a bookmark it will open it.

Oh.
Not too sexy in my mind. Chicago 12 BOLD is simply ugly!
Should by remove IMO.
BTW in this logic why "default action" isn't listed in CM on URL link.. ie "Open
this link" like in NS?
For the Print button why "confirming" with an drop menu that this button will
print... "other features" will be listed?
This convention comes from Windows, so it was probably carried over to all other
platforms.
There is no default action in the link context menu because there is no "Open
This Link" item. It was deemed repetitive and removed. Of course, this isn't
consistent with the context menu in the Bookmarks sidebar panel, which does have
an "Open" item.
Other features will be added to the Print button, eventually.

Any opinion macusers? I think the "bold effect" should be remove under MacOS.
Change summary and Severity for RFE
> Other features will be added to the Print button, eventually.
Like "Page Setup..." under MacOS I hope!
Severity: normal → enhancement

Yeah, the bold effect should be removed on Mac OS. It doesn't look right, and is
not part of the interface guidelines.

Marking NEW.

Alas, this is the Modern theme, which is cross-platform. The fact that it's
using your system fonts at all is due to CSS magic, not to any platform-
-specificity of the theme itself. I'm pretty sure it's not possible currently
for Modern to do platform-specific things.
So reassigning to component owner, though this bug will probably end up
wontfix. If you want Mozilla to not look ugly, don't use Modern.

impossible to fix on modern as that theme is identical on all platforms.

Are you sure? I heard someone talking about using tagging to identify the items
to be bolded.
But then I guess the tag gets converted to bold in the skin...?
