Description

On ftp.m.o:
$ ls -ld /pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-candidates*
... latest-candidate-comm-beta -> 15.0b4-candidates/build1
... latest-candidate-comm-release -> 14.0-candidates/build1

The cron job is still looking at files in
 https://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/tools/patcher-configs/
instead of
 http://hg.mozilla.org/build/tools/file/default/release/patcher-configs/

Created attachment 783081 [details] [diff] [review]
[svn] Swap to tools in hg

Also imports the script into svn (updating the example), and installs it with puppet on the machine that runs cron jobs (upload-cron, but not stage.m.o).

You will need to add /usr/local/bin/ to your crontab PATH or provide a full path to symlink-latest-release.py. r+ with one of those changes.

Can you also remove the extraneous "# that it should create." line before checking in? Thanks.

I used /usr/local/bin/symlink-latest-release.py.

Adding         files/bin/symlink-latest-release.py
Sending        files/cron/tbirdbld
Sending        manifests/upload_cron.pp
Transmitting file data ...
Committed revision 72505.
