* Description: This case happened on Helix V1.1.0 HD build and others. It is legacy bug. If you keep marketplace page in background and uninstall a app, the app's status still keeps "installed" after you go back to marketplace page. The following is the demo video. You can download it to get the clear version. -> https://dc1.safesync.com/LMmrVKPC/MK_001.mp4?a=oAjyOMuwEbc * Reproduction steps: 1. Launch the Marketplace 2. Install a app 3. Press home button to go back to the home screen 4. Uninstall the app 5. Go to marketplace 6. Install the same app * Expected result: The app can be installed * Actual result: The app cannot be installed and the button show "Launch" * Reproduction build:(Mozilla-b2g18_v1_1_0_hd-helix/2013-07-25-07-02-02) + Mercurial-Information - Gecko revision="2bb08f2878da" + Git-information - Gaia revision="f2bc4a004f592cd6dce4edda2b0533f4fd4f91f2"
That's because you uninstalled the app, but returned immediately to the place where you installed the app. Typically a user would have to reload the content on marketplace to get the correct button. So this would have to be resolved on the marketplace side to auto-refresh if something changed.

At that point, the Marketplace hasn't had a chance to update. We've gone back and forth internally about this and it's enough of an edge case for us not to be concerned. If you've immediately uninstalled the app and wish to reinstall it, you can either press the back button and navigate back to the page you were on (changing pages refreshes the button status), or you can close the Marketplace and reopen it (long-press on the home button and swipe up on the marketplace).
