If Music app is opened then sharing SD storage via USB, even USB is unplug, open Music app again will only stay in "Add songs to get started" warning page without re-scanning files again.

* Reproduce Steps
1. Open Music app(songs are saved in SD card and displayed in music app)
2. Connect to PC with SD storage share using USB enabled.
3. Unplug USB, open music app again.

* Expected Result
Songs can be displayed.

* Actual Result
Stay in "Add songs to get started" warning page. (attached screen shot)

can you check if this is HD specific (maybe storage available event is not sent) or make it leo? if it's v1.1 problem?

Wayne, I took a quick test and found it's only reproducible on helix but unagi, and I haven't try the leo device, I guess it might happens on the devices that have internal and external storages, so leo device probably also has this issue.

And I found a 100% STR:
1. Plug the USB cable.
2. Enable "Share using USB" before launch music app.
3. Launch music app.
4. Unplug the USB cable.

Wayne, bug 836783 looks different, but I do think the other two bugs are related. Since bug 890482 and bug 884688 are both about fixing the issues on mediadb, which should affect music, gallery and video apps,, I would suggest we wait those bugs to be landed and see if the patches fix this or not.
