amazondotcom.xml yahoo.xml eBay.xml I'm running some tests on searchplugins and these files are inside the browser/searchplugins folder of your locale but are unused, since the corresponding en-US searchplugins are picked at build time. The situation on mozilla-aurora is correct http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-aurora/ar/file/2313f1190362/browser/searchplugins Your locale is not currently working on l10n-central and seems to use Pootle as a tool, so these files should just be removed on l10n-central.
