We recently worked with the Creative team to produce these Firefox Marketplace call to action badges: https://assets.mozillalabs.com/Projects/Firefox%20Marketplace/Badges/ These badges will be used by the Firefox OS apps developers to promote and share the link for the app download in Firefox Marketplace. We want to offer a localized badge for your locale. The first step is to provide a translation of the text on, this badge, the text is: GET IT IN THE Firefox MARKETPLACE You can look at the url above to see how this is rendered. You may have to adapt a bit the text so as to make it fit in the button. If the text layout on this button represents a challenge for your language, we can brainstorm here and tweak the text and/or the design to make the still button look good for your locale. Once we have the string translated, we can ask the Designer to actually integrate your text in the button and check that it is correct (fonts /ex). Thanks

TRŽNICA (marketplace) can also be replaced with TRGOVINA (store).

I like "NABAVITE U Firefox TRGOVINI" most. I also prefer "trgovina" (store) over "tržnica" (marketplace) as marketplace is, at least in Croatia, primarily associated with places where people sell fruit and vegetables :-)

Just want to mention, that "store" is more like something you have to pay for.

Note: don't try to commit your localization to the .lang file (the repository is read only). Please but your localization here in the bug and tell us when it can be considered final, we'll add it to the file.

I'm adding Niko to the bug. Saša: NABAVITE U Firefox TRGOVINI Mihovil: PREUZMITE IZ Firefox TRŽNICE / TRGOVINE Niko: ? I like preuzmite most since it's about downloading apps from Firefox Marketplace if I'm not mistaken. "Preuzmite" is similiar to "Download".

Mikeyy, your suggestion makes sense. I'm changing my vote in favour of "PREUZMITE U Firefox TRGOVINI".

Hey there, I have taken over the localization of these buttons as they are being added to the Affiliates program. And as such I have some of the direction that was missing from this bug. The direction missing on how to localize marketplace is that the whole name "Firefox Marketplace" is a brand name and can't be altered. The way it was done, only Firefox was treated like a brand. This is an example of how the brand team would like it treated, where the branding stays the same but, the words leading up to it change: http://developer.android.com/distribute/googleplay/promote/badges.html If you are interested, this is where we are tracking the design of the localized buttons: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=952618 and where we discovered the issue. Please let me know if you have any questions about this and thank you. Best, Chelsea
