We recently worked with the Creative team to produce these Firefox Marketplace call to action badges:

These badges will be used by the Firefox OS apps developers to promote and share the link for the app download in Firefox Marketplace.

We want to offer a localized badge for your locale.

The first step is to provide a translation of the text on, this badge, the text is:

GET IT IN THE Firefox MARKETPLACE

You can look at the url above to see how this is rendered. You may have to adapt a bit the text so as to make it fit in the button. If the text layout on this button represents a challenge for your language, we can brainstorm here and tweak the text and/or the design to make the still button look good for your locale. 

Once we have the string translated, we can ask the Designer to actually integrate your text in the button and check that it is correct (fonts /ex).

Note: don't try to commit your localization to the .lang file (the repository is read only). 

Please but your localization here in the bug and tell us when it can be considered final, we'll add it to the file.

Is the "магазин Firefox" become a common translation? If yes, I'm agreed with it.

I have not received any feedback on translation "Firefox Marketplace" as "Магазин Firefox", so I can not assert it as common translation.
Wikipedia articles on iTunes store and Google play (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITunes_Store and http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Play) use "Магазин" as translation of Apple and Google stores.

Translation is: "Получите его в МАГАЗИНЕ Firefox"
Looks like "Marketplace" on badge use capital letters, so I've made translation of "Marketplace" is caps too.

Hey there, 

I have taken over the localization of these buttons as they are being added to the Affiliates program. And as such I have some of the direction that was missing from this bug. 

The direction missing on how to localize marketplace is that the whole name "Firefox Marketplace" is a brand name and can't be altered. The way it was done, only Firefox was treated like a brand.

This is an example of how the brand team would like it treated, where the branding stays the same but, the words leading up to it change:

In this case, Russian translation can be "Получите его в Firefox MARKETPLACE".
Or, if we want to copy Android badge translation, we can use "Загрузите на Firefox MARKETPLACE" (Russian translation) or "Доступно на Firefox MARKETPLACE" (Ukrainian translation, which also make sense in Russian).
Android badge translations are shorter, but it's not exact translation from English. "Загрузите на Firefox MARKETPLACE" equals to "Download on Firefox MARKETPLACE" and "Доступно на Firefox MARKETPLACE" equals to "Available on Firefox MARKETPLACE".

Can you please explain for non-native English speaker, why Google decided to use "Get it ON Google Play" and Mozilla decided to use "Get it IN Firefox MARKETPLACE"? Whats the difference between Get IN and Get ON regarding software markets?
In Russian there is one difference in terminology between shop and bazaar/street market, when someone says about buying something: they say "I've bought it IN shop", but "I've bought it ON bazaar". So I wonder how to better describe Firefox MARKETPLACE - as a shop or a bazaar.

Oh prepositions. They are such fun. 

In this case Google is using on to mean get it on a channel. You'll note that they don't stay "get it on the Google Play Store" so they're likening Google Play to something more than a store.  

Where as "in" the Firefox Marketplace is meant to make you think of getting in in a store (bazzar, etc). Apple does the same in terms of "Get it in the App Store."
