If I open up the app menu and various sub-menus, I can close them by pressing escape.

However, if I then open the customise dialog for the toolbar and then close it, I'm no longer able to close the app menu (or the sub-menus) by pressing escape.

From comments on bug 871266 this appears to be mac-only.
When this is fixed, we'll need to re-enable the test, aka backout https://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/rev/456c95ec086b

I just tried to reproduce this on TB 68.7.0 on Mac, and opening and closing the Customize dialog on the Mail Toolbar doesn't seem to affect my ability to dismiss dialogs with the Escape key.
