Per bug 900083, we need to link to our main Google+ account from the footer like we do with Twitter and Facebook.
The code in the base template is here:
https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/blob/master/bedrock/base/templates/base.html#L98
Add:
<li><a href="https://plus.google.com/+firefox/">{{_('Google+')}}</a></li>

Thanks Chris,
I just posted the below message in Bug 900083:
Mozilla's Google+ account is an awesome, active community-run account. The question as to whether or not we should add it to the Moz.org footer has come up in the past. I don’t recommend moving forward for the reasons below:
1. There are literally thousands of other Mozilla community-managed channels and we shouldn’t give preference to one over another.
2. The Google+ account is not one of the channels we have resources to fully manage (nor do we wish to at this time as it serves a great purpose as a community-run account). So, content isn’t vetted by partners and other stakeholders before it is posted on Google+ (as it is with other social media networks), and there aren’t people monitoring the account for potential crises round the clock (as there are with other social media networks). It is actually a risk to link to it as an official account for these reasons.
Happy to jump in Vidyo if you would like to discuss more. LMK if you want this, and I'll set up a time.
Thanks,
Michaela

Hey Chris -- and again like on Bug 900083, we're working with some pros to get a better idea of the ROI of an activity like this. Let's stay tuned for that before implementing anything.

WONTFIXing this for now until the ROI is finished and then we can decide to reopen.
