User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130618035212 Steps to reproduce: Random browsing, with automatic updates set to 'wifi only', while not on wifi. Actual results: Toast 'Installation complete' popped up more than once. This completely uninformative message (see Bug 766359) made me wonder if something got installed maliciously, especially since I explicitly told FF not to update if I'm not on wifi. Expected results: Whatever add-on that got updated should not have updated itself. Automatic updates for add-ons should follow the same policy I set for Firefox.

The setting is in respect to browser updates and not at all related to add-on updates. I have no idea why it's exposed on release and beta channels when it only pertains towards Nightly updates.

Hmmm. That's unexpected. Well it would be nice to control when add-ons are allowed to update. I want to at least see what's trying to get an update and have FF get my permission first.
