This isn't a critical user feature for anything, just a minor desktop consistency thing that really annoys me personally when dogfooding.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Focus the urlbar.
2) Type some text into the urlbar.
3) Press control-L.

Expected results: The text is selected.
Acutal results: The text is not selected.
