For static analysis of GGC Exact Rooting, the linux64 builders will need a gcc with plugin support.

sfink says, "I haven't checked whether the gcc installed on the buildbots supports plugins,
but I suspect it doesn't. If not, we'd want a repackaging that does. Somebody could ask on #releng where to get the package, check it out, and request a rebuild if it doesn't have plugins."

cpeterson/sfink, could you provide us a way to confirm/deny existing plugin support, and the modification to the spec if required ?

rail, could you provide a pointer to the spec files we use ?

sfink will know, but he is on PTO until August 14.

btw, bug 504828 was a similar request (from 2009): install gcc 4.3 with plugin support on the Linux builders.

the spec is https://hg.mozilla.org/build/rpm-sources/file/73c170662308/gcc47/centos6-x86_64/gcc472.spec I suspect it does support plugins, since we don't really pass any interesting args to configure and I see plugin headers in a local install of that rpm.

I have access to my build slave again, and I can confirm that the gcc does include plugins (and runs them without error in a very very basic test.)
