From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010710 BuildID: 2001071008 If a web page creates a popup window (like a target="_blank") it will open the new window and display the browser's home page rather than the intended html document. This is rather annoying if the home page is something huge like my.yahoo.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a page that opens a new window (like www.paradise.com) 2. Wait 3. Watch the new window open, and display your home page rather than target HTML document. Actual Results: The new browser window displayed my home page as set in preferences. Expected Results: The new browser window should have displayed the requested html document. <A HREF="http://www.mozilla.org" TARGET="_blank">Try this</A><BR> This should have openeed your home page in a new browser window, when it should have opened www.mozilla.org in a new browser window.
So, it has crept in to Mac builds. Bug 89691 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 89691 ***
