In preparation for the summit, we should make sure Mozillians.org is optimized for small screens. Please use a small screen (any small screen) to review every page in the site. For each page, please.... * identify content that might be dropped or shaped without reducing core site functionality * identify interface changes that might make the experience better on mobile devices Please post these recommendations to the developer list at https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/mozilla.dev.community-tools and solicit feedback. Along the way, please... * open a bug for any glaring problems to fix -- make sure to note the device type
I suggest we optimize for screens as small as 320x480 pixels. That seems to be the smallest resolution for modern mobile devices, including Firefox OS devices. Pro tip: The Responsive Design View in the Web Developer tools for Firefox is great for testing any screen size.
Summary: Review Mozillians.org on small screens and propose changes → [tracker] Small screen improvements
All the small screen improvements we identified for the summit have now been released. We'll surely find more small screen improvements to make; there is probably no need (or time) to make them block this bug.
