Summary: Video Performance on FF Mac - dropped frames → Flash video performance on Mac is poor, dropped frames
> User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 This was reported on Windows NT. Is it truly about Flash performance on the Mac? Is performance worse in FF 23 than it was in FF 22? What version of Flash are you testing with? Do different Flash versions behave differently? Please report some of the numbers you've seen in your tests, in different browsers, and possibly also on different platforms. > any flash player logging tool You list one example. Could you also list others?

After loading http://www.yospace.com/index.php/hls-demo.html in latest Nightly 29.0a1, the browser freezes for 30 seconds then the video starts. In the first 20 seconds the video has poor quality and is lagging, afterwards the video is played nice and smooth. I am using Flash 12.0.0.39 on Mac OS X 10.9.
