This is still showing up so we need to dig in and track down a fix for the fx 26 uplift.
I also see this in the start page when scrolling using the scroll bar / mouse. The removal of the watermark didn't this entirely.
Marco, this should probably be a stand alone defect that blocks fx26. The starting point value should probably be pretty high (8?).

I can't tell from the description if this is only with D2D backend and OK otherwise?
I don't know if we allow Metro without D2D?

We also pulled a background out that was making it worse in bug 887975.

But we still see various issues, blocked bugs 903383, 903601, and 903602 have some other cases.

yes we do, and that fixed the problem last time I checked. I can do some more qa on tip to confirm.
This appears to be fixed in latest nightly (testing with the options flyout). Please reopen if you still see it someplace.
