Details

On the branch, the prefs dialog was made resizable again (bug 87373). However,
it doesn't remember its size, which makes resizability rather useless.

So this bug is to make the size stick. We need to persist height and width.
BTW, why is the pref dialog fixed-sized on the trunk? I liked the idea of it
being resizable. Would it be causing any problems?
Simple. Marking 1.0 as I don't think we'll fix all the panels before then.

I don't think we currently have a pref window that's resizable.

Is there a compelling reason why the prefs dialog should not be resizeable?

It would provide an easy workaround for people (eg me!) who screw something up,
resulting in the prefs window becoming a very odd size.
