I don't know if this is a duplicate. If so, then please copy over my link to the existing bug. In the PDF file, linked to the bug, the second blue line should be: GOLDPOKAL DER NORDISCHEN FOLKEBOOTE 2013 In PDFJS it is: GOLDPO AL DER NORDISCHEN FOL EBOOTE 2013 Means: Two "K" are missing.

Is there an example file to test with? Does it work with other PDF viewers? (Is PDFJS another viewer?)

I think PDFJS was the name of the firefox builtin before it got shipped with Firefox. But maybe I'm wrong and the current version, shipped with Firefox, has another name. The example file is in the "URL" field of this bug and I'll add it a second time here: http://www.nyc-ev.de/wp-content/uploads/Ausschreibung_Goldpokal_250413.pdf The "K"'s, which are missing, are displayed in other viewers. I tried "Okular" as viewer and there, no characters are missing.

I can confirm the problem for built-in Firefox 23.0 PDF viewer on Fedora 19.
FF 24.0 displays a bar with the message This PDF document might not be displayed correctly [Open With Different Viewer] above the PDF. The missing "K"s can be copied and searched for, but they aren't displayed. The line is also a bit weird. While it appears to be all upper case, it turns into Goldpokal der Nordische N Folkeboote 2013 when copied (Note: mixed case and the "n" at the end of the word "Nordischen" appears in upper case on a separate line)

Probably a duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=849481 . I added a screenshot and a sample pdf there.
