User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130803193131 Steps to reproduce: If you go to "browse all history" and start browsing through a previous days pages then, when you click on one one it is opened. This page is now in "today's" history and so you flip to the Today part of the history list. If you want to look though several links on an old day (likely - you're trying to find a page you remember viewing yesterday) you need to manually go back to the relevant day's list, and then find out where you were in it, each time. Actual results: See "What did you do?". Expected results: The display should stay on the same day and go to the next entry (or the previous one if you selected the last one). You are browsing by day - not by any specific link - so should stay on that day not follow the link.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 On latest Aurora (20131106004000) if Library window is not closed, the focus remains on the previously selected day. On "Last 7 days" category, the opened link becomes the first one, the links list is refreshed. On older months, the selected link remains focused on the Library window, after it is opened in browser. Also, the links can be opened by using the mouse middle button.
I can't reproduce this in Iceweasel 24, but I remember being hit by this countless times. I think that this was fixed recently. I would have said before Firefox 24, but please retest.

I've just checked on FF 26 and the issue does seem to have gone away. The specific issue mentioned no longer exists as there is now no "Yesterday" option. But it is also better for older months, in that you now stay on that month (although the page does flip to the top of the list). I'll close this (mark it as RESOLVED).
