User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130805152501 Steps to reproduce: This switch to tab feature does not take in to account a change in URL query parameters. For example, I would go to a URL such as bug.xx.com?bug=123. I would then open a new tab (with Control T), and type bug.xx (which would pull up the existing bug 123 url) - I would then change the bug query param from 123 to be 456, but rather open the new bug url, it would switch back to the other tab. I'm running Firefox 17.0.8 ESR Actual results: The new tab with a modified query parameter essentially never opens. Instead, I'm switched back to the original opened tab. Expected results: Given the query param value is different, and thus a different URL, the new tab request that I have explicitly requested should open up.
I'm leveraging the add on "Switch to Tab no more" to work around this issue.
