User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130730113002 Steps to reproduce: Please follow the steps: 1. Visit http://www.hwsuite.com/sitemap.php. 2. Please do not click any other links. This page is under construction. 3. At the footer on the right, there is a drop-down list with languages. 3.1. Click on it. Actual results: FireFox eats 100% CPU. It is responsive but very slow. Expected results: The drop-down list should be opened and I have to see all list of languages. BTW. The same list works correct (except empty block at the bottom of the list. I filed another bug) at the home page http://www.hwsuite.com. Env: Windows XP SP2. FireFox 23. FireBug 1.11.4, but I disabled it to reproduce the issue.
Reproducible on Win7 SP1 and Firefox 24.0b1

I renamed file to http://www.hwsuite.com/sitemap-100.html for testing. It seems the issue in unclosed "<div>" tag. But anyway, FireFox should not eat 100% CPU.

Can you still reproduce this bug with latest Firefox with new clean fresh profile?

Hi, Yes, I can reproduce. OS: Windows XP SP2. Firefox: 34.0.5. (I disabled Firebug and ADplus plugins) Page: www.hwsuite.com (home page). it seems sitemap-100.html was removed. Regards, Valery.

Please test it with new clean fresh profile without any plugins and addons or with Firefox Portable.

Attached file xulstore.json
It seems the issue due to the attached files only. If I replace this file from new profile to mine, the bug is not reproduced. I do not know what this file contains. Maybe someone will find the cause.
