Unable to initiate a chat conversation with a particular person in public chat room

Repro Steps:
  1. Open Vivo Chat application.
  2. Enter Telephone Number 
  3. Press 'Eviar Codigo' button
  4. Enter 'Codigo' 
  5. Enter 'Validar'
  6. Press 'Entrar' button
  7. Tap on 'Bate Papo'
  8. Tap on 'Bate Papo 7'
  9. View what is listed

Actual:
  There is no option for user to initiate a conversation with someone in particular in a public chat room

Expected:
  There is a button or another way to select a person to have a conversation with
