For some reason we've been finding that the LG G2X in hax0r seems to be losing its wifi connection, and watcher isn't resetting the device as would be expected in that case (we've set it up to ping its host machine: eideticker-1) It's not really clear what's going on as it was working fine before and nothing much has changed. I recently upgraded the lg g2x to the latest version of watcher on the suspicion that something in bug 867360 would help, but no luck.

Logcat of lg device after wifi failure.
So ctalbert and I spent a good chunk of time Monday trying to figure out what's going on here. Nothing's really sticking out. The logcat above (captured just after a failure) doesn't have anything incriminating in it. It's curious to me why the watcher isn't working as it should, but then again if the device is as unreliable as it currently seems to be (it goes down after an hour or so) I'm not sure there's much that can be done. At this point I think the best thing to do is just replace the device. joduinn said he had a phone he wouldn't mind donating for this purpose.

John generously gave us his phone, and we're back in business!
