Steps to reproduce:

* Open the devtools network panel
* Load the testcase (or any page with an image wider than ~400 px)
* Choose the image request
* Click on the response tab



Actual results:

The image is squashed and the dimensions shown are wrong. Also it says "Encoding: base64" even though it's a regular image file, not base64 encoded.


Expected results:

The image should be scaled down with its proportions intact, and the info should be correct.

I have the impression this is no longer relevant. With Nightly 55.0a1, User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 , built from :
> mozilla-central$ hg wip | tail -n1
> @  352132:731639fccc70 cbook tip central merge mozilla-inbound to mozilla-centra
I can no longer see the problem, with either the attached test nor another random image larger than 400px
