This is using my few days old win32 debug build. The memory usage was obtained by using the Task Manager Launch -mail 36633k Read 10 mails size (1 to 10K) 36670K Search for Subject contains "mail" at the acct level 41892K Close Search window and again issue the same search in a new window 42188K Compose one message and send 47200K Compose one more message and send 47984K
The test acct inbox had ~70 mail messages and there was no switching of folders, all mail messages were read in inbox.

Memory leak from simply checking mail multiple times. No browser window open, no reading, etc. Just checking for new mail messages leaks.
mass re-assign.

being 7 years old, I can't imagine these results are worth evaluating. At the very least it would need to be rerun.
