Dragging Shortcut into Network Location crashes Explorer
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130818030219 Steps to reproduce: Using Windows 7: 1) Create a shared folder. 2) Open Computer folder, right click background, choose "Add a network location", and add the shared folder. 3) Drag the URL Bar icon into this network location folder. Actual results: Windows Explorer crashes. Expected results: A shortcut should be created in the shared folder.
Helpful hint to fixing the problem: Network Locations are stored in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts\" as links to the entered location. My guess would be that Firefox is attempting to write the shortcut file into the link, rather than the path the link points to.

This is WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 ID:20131025151332 CSet: d86ad7db1de3 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 ID:20131102080838 CSet: d8fd5706493e I checked using both a local and a remote Share as a drive. "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts\" is empty though.
