To reproduce:
1. Log into localize.mozilla.org
2. Change interface language to Irish (or Spanish, or others) in account settings
3. Navigate the site and nearly everything remains in English

The setting is working, sort of, because the language names are coming up correctly in the chosen language.

Are we not pulling the latest upstream translations from Pootle? Irish isn't 100% complete but most of the common strings are translated.
Adding Peter, who might be able to ad-hoc help us with this one.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry to sound like I'm shying away from being useful but even though I help out deploying Verbatim (and the fact that I speak fluent Swedish) I actually never use Verbatim. So I don't really know how it works. And I know nothing about the source control aspects of it either so I'm afraid I can't help there.

However, it sounds like there might be a problem with cookies perhaps.

To try to reproduce what you have, I went to https://localize.allizom.org, logged in, clicked Settings, changed to Swedish. Then I clicked back on the home page, and then again, navigated back to the Settings page and it still was in Swedish.
What's unrelated and almost laughable is that the only word that is translated on that page is the "Password" tab which is correctly translated to "Lösenord".

Thanks for looking Peter. Maybe that's a clue - "Password" is the only thing that's translated in Irish also. Translation is "Focal faire" - the capitalization doesn't match my upstream translation here:

https://github.com/translate/pootle/blob/master/pootle/locale/ga/pootle.po

Seems like these translations aren't being used at all.

Cookies don't seem to affect things one way or another.
