Twitter avatar images with white backgrounds have fuzzy black borders. This is a regression from bug 896489. Please see the attached screenshot or the Twitter links below.

I forked this Twitter bug from bug 899828 comment 11. That bug was closed as a duplicate of bug 897532, but that bug did not fix this Twitter avatar problem.

I have a non-Retina MBP.

I tried reducing this test case and there's some weird component alpha thing causing this.

Also FF25 should be affected and not unaffected as marked shouldn't it?

oops. Yes, FF25 and FF26 are affected, but not FF24.

Verified fixed in Firefox 25, 26, and 27. \o/
