We proxy the mozCamera API to getUserMedia in Firefox so we can take pictures within the browser and test functionality.

Currently the filmstrip appears, but there are no images there. I believe this is due to differing ways of writing metadata between mozCamera and getUserMedia.

May you share the repository for us??
In the filmstrip we display the thumbnails contained in the EXIF metadata. The JPEG files generated by the browser don't contain any EXIF metadata.
The filmstrip doesn't exist anymore after the redesign that landed in 1.4. This doesn't apply anymore
