List Name: Mozilla Toronto COmmunity List Admin: regnard@raquedan.com, majken@gmail.com, Short Description: Mailing list for Toronto-related updates and discussions Long Description: Mailing list for updates and discussions in the Greater Toronto Area. Justification / Special Instructions: There has been significant activity in the Toronto area, specifically in the Webmaker and Reps fronts. This list would be great to integrate local updates and provide a great channel for reaching out to Toronto-based contributors.
Kensie: are you on board here? Is mozilla.community.canada no longer suitable? If this existed, it would be mozilla.community.canada.toronto. Gerv
Yes, I'm on board! It's not really an either or. The Canada list is better suited to community planning and coordination. The Toronto list is suited to local community participation and engagement, and will be very specific about events and activities in Toronto. If we had to choose, the Toronto list is more important as Toronto has momentum we want/need to capitalize on.
Using the precedents of mozilla.community.quebec and mozilla.drumbeat.barcelona, I don't think we need the extra .canada. Over to server-ops. Gerv
