Another example is laying the device on the table flat, and then lifting up the device. This will cause all applications to be upside down. Browser, webapps, etc.

I believe vendor build has this corrected and it is due to the lack of orientation sensor, and vendor gecko has compensated for this.
I'm HD-'ing here, if you find this problem still observed on the vendor build, please renominate this.

Naoki,
Did you see this problem on the vendor build?
Flags: needinfo?(nhirata.bugzilla)
I must have had an older build. I don't see this issue on 10/15 build at this moment.
So if their Gecko layer has the correct change, does this mean that we should only update gaia on these devices since our Gecko doesn't have this change? Or would it be possible if they could place in the code to have the change that they made for the orientation issue onto our repo in this bug? Just asking the question for now...

Note : Our 1.1 HD build doesn't have the orientation fix; the OEM build does.

I've been experiencing this problem on the 11/06 OEM firmware with a recent b2g18_v1_1_0_hd build. It makes dogfooding a bit tough.
