Details
Currently the activity manager shows "local folders" for all accounts using the global inbox. This in neither really informative nor useful. Activity manager should mention the account name as well as the folder where local folders (even if renamed by the user) is the destination of the download. ie Webmail@mail.com on local folder

same as bug 516523?
Flags: needinfo?(unicorn.consulting)
Summary: Activity manager should show account as well as folder name ie "local folders" is not very descriptive → Activity manager should show account name as well as folder name, ie "local folders" is not very descriptive
(In reply to Wayne Mery (:wsmwk) from comment #1) > same as bug 516523? I think not. Very similar, but this is specifically about display messages for Local folders having an account name when appropriate.

My report at Bug 891068 "Would Like More Detailed Activity Logging" has been marked as a duplicate of this one and of Bug 516523 "Activity manager unable to differentiate between similar actions taken at the same time in different accounts". It might indeed be wise to merge these all into one as they simply show the inadequacy of Activity Manager on various levels. Can this be done?

They are similar but it is unclear to me that fixing one fixes the other. So I marked them as "See Also".
I understand your viewpoint. However, the Activity Manager clearly needs a complete overhaul, and these issues should all be addressed during that overhaul.

If you know the code feel free to better adjust the bug report
I don't understand how knowing the code can adjust the bug report; I'm not a bugzilla programmer. However, I made it clear that the best solution is to combine them into one. The benefits should be obvious.
