Steps to reproduce:

I open 
http://stastaka.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/1.jpg
in Firefox. Then i select "Print" and "Print Preview"
and switch multiple times between Scale "Shrink to fit" and "30%".



Actual results:

Firefox displays only upper half of the picture.
When closing the Print Preview even the normal display show only upper half of the picture. When doing a reload (F5), complete picture is shown.


Expected results:

Display complete picture in "Print Preview" and normal view.

Retested with Firefox 24.0 -> it is still not working

The error occurs in current Nightly Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0 with other huge images too.

It happens when large images are redrawn.  After a failure in Print Preview the normal Web View shows only a part of the picture too, please see screen shot.  If the JPG is encoded 'progressive' it is not shown at all after this failure.

Print Preview isn't the main reason of this error.

The error occurs with large images in other file formats too and is not limited to JPG. Small images are not affected.

The image is fully displayed when a scrollbar is used to move the visible area a bit. 

It only occurs when Hardware Acceleration is ON, i.e. if layers.acceleration.disabled = false. Switching this setting off in about:preferences#advanced makes this error go away.

A similar issue is in bug 831269.

This seems to be working now (tested on Win10). Please reopen if that is not the case for you.
