Reporter: Have you tried with TLS both on and off?
WFM, 2001071506/Linux (although very slowly)
I'm sorry that I filed a bug that seems to work for everyone else. I've tried
it with TLS on and off and it never finishes loading and hangs Mozilla. It
works alright when I use IE5. Any clues?

sk3477, do you see any extreme CPU usage? Does the page simply stop loading or
does it produce an application hang (are you able to load other pages after this
'hang' on chaseonline?). Also, can you try this with a new profile (run
mozilla.exe -profilemanager and create a second profile for testing this). I've
tested this on win98 with current trunk bits and do not see any hang.
There is nothing remarkable about CPU usage while trying to load this page.
It's about the same as similar pages.
The page stops loading and then no other pages can be loaded until exitting from
Mozilla and re-entering.
Using a new profile made no difference.

Reopening. not really sure why this was resolved when the reporter was clearly
making an attempt to uncover the problem. It's possible that this will be
resolved worksforme later on, but there's obviously something going on since it
happens in recent builds for him. Lets find out what it is and see if it's
caused by another bug before resolving this one.

Possible clue.
Using 2001072703.
On two occasions, I was able to load this page without locking up. Mozilla did
lock though, before completing the second page.

I still can't reproduce this. Win 98 Trunk 2001073003.
Try loading without JavaScript enabled. Anyone else have any other ideas?

Something new is happening.
The page can be loaded almost to completion and I can login and advance to more
pages. I'd say I made it through a dozen pages without a problem. The first
two pages don't load completely though. The messege 'Document: Done (time)',
never appears. The page doesn't load any more information but the status bar
says 'Transfering data from blah blah'. But it is not locked up.

confirming with build 2001073003
changing topic.
with javascript turned off it works. I've a feeling that this might be caused by
bad browser detection scripts. I'll test again with different browsers.

okay maybe not browser detection scripts. It seems that the page doesn't load
properly the first time. Opening a new window to load the page seems to load
more of the page but it nevers seems to stop loading. After that when I try to
reload again it doesn't load at all. After a while it loads again, but not
completely. I think it might be some networking issue.

Using 20010831:
The first page loaded three out of four times and took about 60 seconds.
Subsequent pages though, do not load to completion.

Observed behaviour of build-id 2001.09.13.03 on WinME:
URL loads forever and it only stops loading if canceled (by pressing
stop-button). After cancelling the browser acts normal again (no freeze).
I also observed this behaviour when I tried to load

This works for me on build 2001100303 win32 on w2k
http://php01.wxs.nl/adsl/aanmelding/current/adsl.php3?user_type=bestaand works
for mee too
Though I must say that these 2 pages (+images) are either really large or the
servers are rather slow.
