It's fairly common for QA to need/request extra nightlies for b2g, and our current method is to trigger nightlies on all platforms. For people on desktop this means they are more likely to need a complete update to stay up to date, and those are much larger (worst case - mac is nearly 70MB). If we could add something to self-serve that allowed people to just request b2g, or even better just a platform like unagi, that would be helpful.

Requesting "just b2g" would be great, for all the reasons nthomas just gave about desktop updates. I'd prefer to build all the various b2g-devices when we have to "respin/rebuild" b2g nightlies. There's already enough confusion where "latest nightly works for me on device AAA but not for you on device BBB" , and its really helpful to be able to say latest nightly for all devices are built with the same gecko/gaia changeset.
