Details

This morning, the PDX office was not able to place outgoing calls or receive incoming calls. All outgoing calls would ring a fast busy, and any extension-direct incoming calls would ring the "unavailable" message, as well as any extension-to-extension calls. I was able to dial outbound calls by dial 9, then the number.
I logged in and checked the console and found lots of ugly messages about iax trying to terminate calls to ringring. The console was generally unstable and uncooperative. Since we were already effectively down, I restarted asterisk from the command line (service asterisk stop;start). Asterisk started back up and acted happy. lolper tested and confirmed we're good.
